Julie Jones is a board-certified nurse midwife (CNM) licensed in the state of Utah. She closed her private obstetrics practice of 23 years to be able to focus on other aspects of women’s health. Julie’s expertise will provide a comprehensive women’s healthcare service from age 12-99+ such as: yearly visits, hormone therapy both bio and non-bioidentical hormones, vaginal health, premarital exams, pre-mission exams, menstrual issues, fertility issues, menopausal issues, sexual issues, thyroid issues and gut health etc.
She graduated with a master’s degree from the University of Utah college of nurse midwifery in 1995. Julie received a post master certificate in medical sex therapy from the Florida Institute of Sex Therapy 2013. She feels women should have safe choices for life’s changes and to be able to help heal themselves. She has the authority to prescribe and manage medications.
Julie has been in the medical field for almost 40 years. She has worked in neurology, cardiology, psychiatry, OB and medical air transport before opening her own practice. She has a passion for all women’s health and their sexuality. Julie also specializes in helping others with desire discrepancies, arousal and orgasm concerns. She has had training in evaluating and treating pelvic pain and pain with intercourse. Julie also is knowledgeable about high grade nutraceuticals and nutritional guidance for life’s common health concerns. She will focus on reversing the disease process to aid in healthy body and mind.
Julie has a private practice as a medical sex therapist for individual and couples. Sexuality has so much to do with mind and body that is what the focus is in her sessions.
Julie is board-certified by American College of Nurse Midwives. She belongs to the following organization: International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH).
Julie likes to spend time with family, ski, garden, travel, watch live sporting events and loves Halloween.
